Synopsis

Three young Jamaican men join the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. A strong bond of friendship and memories of home accompany them on their way to the mother country. All Alvin wants to do is gain his wings and fly. When he achieves this ambition, one mistake leads to his wings being clipped.
