Synopsis

Steel factory worker Kadiri, his wife, Safatu, and his teenage daughter, Seri, live in a tiny, cramped single room. Meanwhile, manager of the firm, Gafari, lives a lush life, sleeping with his secretary, Tara. Wanting more for himself, Gafari manages to get an illegal insider loan while Kadiri and his fellow workers struggle to provide for their families, protesting their working conditions. Needing to butter up their bosses to try and improve their lives, Kadiri and Gafari strive to get what they want but suffer horrendous consequences.
