Biography

Paula B Stanic is an award-winning playwright from East London. Her play What’s Lost won the 2008 Alfred Fagon Award for Best New Play before Paula went on to win the 2023 Roland Rees Bursary (Alfred Fagon Award). She has been a writer on attachment at the National Theatre Studio and writer in residence at Soho Theatre. She was a part of the 2016/17 Drama Room at BBC Writers Room and her play Four Decades was a shortlisted for the 2021 Women’s Prize for Playwriting. She has written for Red Ladder Theatre Company, Soho Theatre, Theatre Centre, Tangle Theatre Company, Prime Theatre and Zoo Coo Theatre Company.
