Lydia Adetunji

Biography

Lydia Adetunji was born in Stockport and grew up in Nigeria before moving back to Britain. After graduating from Cambridge with a degree in Chinese, Adetunji worked as a journalist at the Financial Times for six years. Following attachments with the Royal Court and National Theatre studio, Adetunji showed her debut, Fixer, at Suffolk’s HighTide festival in May 2009. Other work has included Floor 44 and Trickster, both produced at the Young Vic as part of ATC’s Play Size, Canton Kitty, performed at the Globe, and a commission from Oran Mor’s lunchtime theatre programme, A Play, a Pie and a Pint.
