Jeremiah Towolawi
Biography
Jeremiah Towolawi is a British-Nigerian Writer-Director. His short film Pepper Soup delved into a woman’s struggle with faith and marriage after a traumatic event. It premiered at the Women of The Lens Film Festival and was selected by the West African Film Festival, LAHFF, and the Black Film Festival of New Orleans. His previous short MISSED, produced by FullyFocused UK, screened at S.O.U.L Fest. Jeremiah is currently collaborating with Orisun Productions on developing his debut stage play, This Is Not a Drill. He directed Innocent Means Not Guilty with Theatre Peckham, garnering a four-star review from The Stage. His latest work is for the BBC drama series Phoenix Rise and he is part of We Are Parable’s Momentum program.
