Emily Aboud
Biography
Emily Aboud is an award-winning theatre and film director and a writer of mixed heritage, born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, based in London. As a playwright, her work includes Splintered and Bogeyman. She is an associate artist at the Bush Theatre, Artistic Director of Lagahoo Productions and the winner of the 2021 Evening Standard Future Theatre Award. She was shortlisted for the Genesis Fellow Associate Director at the Young Vic, the Genesis Future Directors Award and the Old Vic 12 2020 and the 2021 and 2022 JMK Awards.
