Synopsis
What begins as a conversation in a London kitchen quickly spirals into an experimental meditation on liberation as Mustapha Matura’s play becomes a performance of his protagonist Jan’s own work. This play-within-a-play enters the layered dynamics of life on a twentieth century Caribbean island to explore how power is upheld and how it can be challenged.
