Biography
South London born Rikki Beadle-Blair is an award winning playwright, director, actor and choreographer. Beadle-Blair's writing covers stage, screen and radio. In 1994 he wrote the screenplay for Nigel Finch's film Stonewall, and this was followed by a number of screenwriting credits including a television adaptation of Boy George's autobiography; Take it Like a Man for BBC2 in 2001. In 2007 Beadle-Blair's play Fit was commissioned by Manchester-based arts organisation Queer up North, and gay equality organization Stonewall to tackle homophobic bullying in Britain's schools. Beadle-Blair's other plays have had productions at Theatre Royal Stratford East and Contact Theatre, Manchester.
