Synopsis

Mustapha Matura’s first full-length play, As Time Goes By won the George Devine and John Whiting awards in 1971. A satirical comedy about first-generation immigrants, it was commissioned by Michael White and played at the Traverse Theatre Club, Edinburgh before opening at the Royal Court.
