Angela Turvey has been writing for television, radio and the stage. Her broadcast work for radio includes the Woman's Hour Serial, several original plays, and a short story. Her play, Barrel Boy, won the RIMA award for radio drama in 2002. Turvey has written for Eastenders, Doctors (BBC1), as well as for Channel 4. Her work has toured nationally with Theatre Centre and she has been the recipient of an Arts Council Theatre Writing Bursary.
