Biography
Michael Ellis born in East London of Jamaican parentage is a playwright, scriptwriter and lecturer. Ellis began writing articles, book and music reviews for the local and West Indian press whilst still at school. In 1981 he was awarded the best newcomer ACER penmanship Award for Black Writers. Ellis' stage plays include Chameleon, Temporary Rupture, and Bitter and Twisted.
