Biography

Nigerian born Inua Ellams is a playwright, poet and graphic artist. His debut play The 14th Tale won a Fringe First Award at the Edinburgh Festival 2009, toured and ran at the Soho Theatre and the National Theatre in spring 2010. He has appeared in a wide variety of venues, including The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival, and Queen Elizabeth Halls, Tate Modern, the National Portrait Gallery; theatres: The Albany, The Drum, Theatre Royal Stratford East; Festivals: Glastonbury, Latitude, Shambala; TV: BBC's Politics show; Radio: BBC 1, 2, 1 Extra, World Service, and distinguished street corners in between.
