Biography
Trinidadian born Geraldine Connor is a theatre director, composer, ethnomusicologist and performer. Connor conceived, composed and directed Carnival Messiah, a radical theatrical reinvention inspired by George Fredrick Handel's Messiah. In 2001 she directed the acclaimed premiere co-production between the West Yorkshire Playhouse and Adzido Pan African Dance, Yaa Asantewaa, Warrior Queen.
