SuAndi OBE born in Hulme, Manchester is of British and Nigerian heritage. A poet, writer and librettist, in more recent years she has also worked in Live Art, touring and lecturing internationally.In 2002 SuAndi conceived, produced and directed the production, In My Father's House, bringing 100 black men to the stage of Contact Theatre, Manchester. This was followed in 2007 with Mary Seacole the Opera, for which SuAndi worked as the librettist.
